Then modify the style to your formatting desires, and check the Add to Template box. ![]() Scroll to the the desired style and apply it. You can set up each of these styles in your document template by either creating styles with those names or by going to Format, Styles, and selecting All Styles in the List window. I think the "defalt setting in the Envelope feature suppresses printing of the return address. If your document template, including Normal.dot, does not have those styles already set up, the "default" version of Envelope Address will be used. These are two of many stles already set up by default in Word. If you ask Word to print an envelope (in Word 2K go to Tools, Envelopes and Labels) there are two font styles that it will apply to your envelope: Envelope Address and Envelope Return. The template it uses is either Normal.dot or any other template you have created and selected. When Word 2000 (or most earlier versions) prints an envelope it does so from an open document, which in turn means a template. However, I think there is a way to solve your issue. Why your "changes" don't "stick" is a mystery. I don't recall encountering this particular problem. ![]()
